One to one Silversmithing
Book a one to one silversmithing experience to learn more about this technique and create your own beautiful ring or pendant design. This introductory class is best taken individually or with a friend or partner (2 people maximum). In this intimate session, which takes a minimum of four hours, you’ll work with me in the studio at my Shropshire home and learn the basic processes to create a silver ring or pendant. In this session you will learn to pierce metal, solder and polish and finish your piece. Take home your own unique piece of jewellery and learn an exciting new skill! Wax carving group classes
Join me for a fun and fascinating group session to learn more about creating your own piece of jewellery using wax carving techniques. In this session you’ll craft your own ring or pendant design, which will then be cast in silver or bronze. I will polish and finish the pieces by hand following the session. Bronze pieces will be plated in 18ct yellow gold. Items can be posted (for a fee) or collected in Shropshire. Sessions usually run at about 4 hours long. This is great to do with a friend or partner as a gift- previously I’ve worked with couples to create their wedding bands, for example. This session can be taken in your own home or at my studio if preferred. The pieces created will be cast in silver or bronze and I will polish and finish the pieces by hand following the session. Bronze pieces will be plated in 18ct yellow gold. Items are posted or hand delivered when they are ready.
